1. Agreeing to these terms
These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and İdiqut Games, an independent game studio based in Türkiye ("İdiqut Games", "we", "us"). They cover our games — currently Hamster Maze — and this website.
By downloading, installing or playing the game, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not install the game, or uninstall it. Our Privacy Policy is part of this agreement.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the game with the permission of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms with you.
2. Your licence to play
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the game on devices you own or control, for your own private, non-commercial entertainment.
That is a licence, not a sale. We keep ownership of the game and everything in it. Anything the licence does not expressly permit is reserved to us.
3. Fair play
While using the game, you agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the game, except where the law expressly permits it despite a contractual restriction
- Modify the game, inject code, or use cheats, bots, macros, emulated input or automation to gain an advantage
- Tamper with save files, memory or network traffic to unlock items or currency you did not pay for
- Knowingly exploit a bug for gain instead of reporting it — tell us and we will fix it
- Copy, sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute or repackage the game, or publish it on any other store
- Remove or obscure any copyright, trademark or ownership notice
- Use the game for anything unlawful, or in a way that interferes with other players' use of it
Streaming, recording and posting videos of the game is welcome, including monetised videos on platforms like YouTube and Twitch, as long as you credit İdiqut Games and do not present the game as your own work or distribute the game files themselves.
4. Purchases and virtual items
The game is free to download and may offer optional in-app purchases. All payments are processed by Apple or Google under their own terms; we never receive or store your payment details.
- What you buy is a licence, not property. Coins, unlocks, cosmetics, ad removal and any other in-game item are a limited right to use them inside the game. They are not your property and they are not a deposit or a credit balance.
- They have no real-world value. Virtual items cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value outside the game, and may not be sold, traded, gifted or transferred to another person or account.
- Prices can change, and items can be added, changed, rebalanced or discontinued as the game is developed. Where an item you have already bought is withdrawn, we will provide a reasonable equivalent where we can.
- Purchases are tied to the store account you bought them with. If you switch platforms — Android to iOS or back — purchases do not carry across, because the stores do not allow it.
- If the game is discontinued, your licence to virtual items ends when the service ends. This does not affect any refund right you have under mandatory consumer law.
5. Refunds
Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, not by us — we cannot issue, reverse or override a store's decision. The support page sets out the exact steps for Apple and for Google.
If you are a consumer in the EEA, the UK or Türkiye, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal for digital content. Where that right applies, it applies in addition to whatever the store's own policy offers, and nothing here removes it. Note that in most jurisdictions this right ends once the digital content has been delivered with your consent — which, for an in-app item, is the moment it appears in your game.
If a purchase failed, charged you twice, or never arrived, that is not a refund question — that is a bug, and we will help. Email us.
6. Advertising
The game is funded by advertising. By playing, you accept that ads will be shown, including full-screen ads between rounds and optional rewarded ads you choose to watch in exchange for something in the game.
Ads come from third-party networks. We do not control what individual ad you see, and an ad appearing in our game is not an endorsement of the product it advertises. If you see an ad that is offensive, misleading or broken, send us a screenshot and we will report it to the network.
You can control personalised advertising at any time — see the privacy policy.
7. Your progress
Your progress is saved locally on your device. There is no account and no cloud save, which means:
- Uninstalling the game, clearing its data, or resetting your phone will erase your progress permanently.
- Progress does not transfer between devices.
- We cannot restore lost progress, because we never had a copy of it. Purchases are a separate matter and can usually be restored — see support.
8. Our content
The game and everything in it — code, artwork, characters, levels, music, sound, text, the İdiqut Games name and logo — belongs to İdiqut Games or to our licensors, and is protected by copyright and trademark law.
You may use our screenshots, trailers and logo for news coverage, reviews and video content about the game. You may not use them to imply that we endorse, sponsor or are affiliated with your product, and you may not use our name or logo as part of your own branding.
9. Ideas you send us
We like getting suggestions, and we read them. But so we can act on them without a later dispute: if you send us an idea, a feature request, a level concept or any other feedback, you grant us a free, worldwide, perpetual and irrevocable right to use it in any way, without owing you payment, credit or confidentiality.
If you would rather keep an idea to yourself, please don't send it. Nothing here takes ownership of a work you already have rights in — it only means we are free to act on suggestions about our own game.
10. Updates and availability
We may update the game, change how features work, rebalance difficulty, add or remove content, or discontinue a title entirely. Updates may be installed automatically by your store's settings, and an update may require a newer operating system version than the one you are on.
The game is provided as it is, when it is available. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and parts of the game that need a network connection — ads, purchases — depend on services we do not control.
11. Ending this agreement
You can end this agreement at any time by uninstalling the game. That is the whole process; there is no account to close.
We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these terms — cheating, tampering, redistributing the game, or using it unlawfully. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right. When the licence ends, your right to use the game and any virtual items in it ends with it, and the sections that by their nature should survive — ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law — continue to apply.
12. No warranty
The game and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the game will meet your expectations, that it will run without interruption or error on your particular device, or that every defect will be fixed.
Consumers
If you are a consumer, mandatory law where you live may give you rights that cannot be excluded — such as the statutory conformity rights of EU and UK consumers, or the protections of Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502. Nothing in this section takes those rights away. Where a disclaimer here is not permitted by the law that protects you, it simply does not apply to you.
13. Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, İdiqut Games is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, for lost profits, lost data or lost game progress, or for the cost of substitute services, arising out of your use of or inability to use the game.
Where we are liable, our total liability for all claims relating to the game is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you actually paid us for in-app purchases in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) EUR 50.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
14. App Store and Google Play
You may have downloaded the game from Apple's App Store or from Google Play. Those stores have their own terms, which apply to you alongside these ones.
Terms required for the Apple App Store
Where you obtained the game from the App Store, the following apply:
- This agreement is between you and İdiqut Games only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the game or its content.
- Your licence to use the game is limited to a non-transferable licence to use it on any Apple-branded device you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms of Service.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the game. All support requests go to us.
- If the game fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the game, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the game — including product liability claims, any claim that the game fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of any third-party claim that the game or your use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting", and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and, upon your acceptance of these terms, have the right to enforce it against you.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts and execution offices of Istanbul, Türkiye have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts of that country. Consumers in Türkiye may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts within the applicable monetary limits.
16. Changes to these terms
As the game develops, these terms may change. The date at the top always reflects the current version. If a change materially affects your rights, we will give notice in the game or on this site before it takes effect.
Continuing to play after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, uninstall the game.
17. The rest of the small print
- Whole agreement. These terms and the privacy policy are the entire agreement between us about the game, and replace anything said before.
- Severability. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, that part is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest stays in force.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a right immediately, we have not given it up.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours to a successor of our business, provided your rights are not reduced.
- Force majeure. Neither side is liable for failures caused by events beyond reasonable control.
- Language. These terms are written in English. Any translation is provided for convenience; if there is a conflict, the English version governs, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise.
